An exciting 10 month fixed term opportunity has arisen for a Perinatal Mental Health Practitioner.
The Perinatal Mental Health Practitioner post aims to provide additional targeted emotional wellbeing support for the 0-25 Healthy Child Programme, contributing to the Knowsley Family Hubs offer.
The post requires good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to be adaptable, reliable, compassionate, and approachable. You will need to have strong interpersonal and leadership skills, be flexible, solution focused and support service development.
Wirral Community Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust is an innovative and forward-thinking organisation, delivering high quality health and care services to the populations of Wirral, Cheshire East and West, St Helens and Knowsley., The successful candidate will work as part of the 0-25 service supporting the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme and contributing to the Knowsley Family Hubs offer.
This will include developing, contributing and influencing the regional antenatal offer and perinatal mental health support in collaboration with partner agencies.
You will also be involved in a range of public health activities within a geographical area, to include individuals, groups, and communities.
As a key stakeholder in the protection of children, you will be required to work collaboratively with other agencies to meet their needs. You will have a good knowledge of the components of Clinical Governance, Risk Management, Audits, and relevant Professional Codes., Reference Information: Please ensure your application is submitted with referees who can verify your employment/ education history over the last three years and include valid business email addresses for them. Salary Expectations: The Trust pays staff in line with national NHS Terms and Conditions. Relevant experience may be considered when salary offers are made.
