Full Job Description

The successful applicant will form an important part of our existing School Cleaning Team. As the Peri Cleaner In Charge, you will be responsible for the cleaning staff on site, ensuring that they have the materials and equipment they require on a day-to-day basis to enable them to carry out their duties to a high standard. You will be required to monitor the standards throughout the schools, give training and support to the cleaning staff, monitor attendance and organize any cover required in the school. You will be responsible for monitoring and ordering stock ensuring we have the required levels to deliver the service. Communicate with on site staff ensuring exceptional service delivery, promoting the service we provide in a positive manner and working closely with the FM Team Leaders carrying out duties as required and instructed by the team leader., We have 2 Peri Cleaner in Charge posts available at 20 hours each, split shift, overtime required when needed, driving licence and business insurance essential. Full training will be provided to enable you to carry out your role. Your main duties will include:

  • Ensuring high standards and Exceptional service delivery.
  • Monitoring Absence and time keeping.
  • Induction training and refresher training for cleaning staff.
  • Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming.
  • Cleaning of tables, unit tops and all touch points.
  • Cleaning toilet and washroom areas.
  • Re filling consumables, soap, hand towels and toilet roll.
  • Emptying waste bins.
  • Use of vacuum cleaners, scrubbers and rotary machines.
  • High and low level dusting.
  • A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
