We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Peripatetic Whole Class Music Teacher with a forte in singing to join our vibrant team and help pupils in EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2 discover their musical potential. In this exciting role, you will lead choral and ensemble singing, while also planning and delivering other instrumental music activities, all in line with the National Curriculum and under the guidance of our Music Service and Operations Managers.

Are you passionate about bringing the joy of music to young children? We are looking for a talented and versatile Peripatetic Whole Class Music Teacher with a singing specialism to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to teach singing, including musical theatre, ukulele, keyboard, percussion, and recorder effectively to whole classes and smaller groups, ensuring that pupils from EYFS and KS1 receive a dynamic and engaging music education.

This role requires strong organisational skills for lesson planning and record keeping, as well as the ability to manage time effectively, including delivering out-of-school activities. You'll need to be well-versed in music teaching strategies, have a deep understanding of the National Curriculum for Music, and demonstrate knowledge across a variety of singing styles and instrumental techniques.

This is a public facing role so you'll need to show off your fluency in speaking and writing English.

As an effective communicator, you'll bring enthusiasm and energy to your teaching while using music technologies to enhance learning experiences. A relevant teaching qualification or proven experience in teaching class music and singing is essential. The role involves travelling across the borough, with some out-of-hours commitments required.
