Personal Advisor - S01

To have previous work experience with young people aged 18+ and ideally experience of working in a statutory Leaving Care setting.
You will be working with young people that are eligible for support from the Local Authority under the Leaving Care Act of 2000. These young people will be living in a variety of different settings.
You will hold up to 25 care leavers, supporting them until the age of 21 or 25 if they are in education or training or request support.
Working in a unit made up of Consultant Social Worker (Manager), a senior social worker, 3 social workers and administrator but as part of a larger group made up of 3 Leaving Care Units in total.
You will ensure Pathway Plans are reviewed every 6 months and to work in partnership with the young person's network.
Our Virtual School supports Care Leavers up until the age of 25 and we have links with Housing Advice and the Job Centre to ensure care leavers are managing their finances and in suitable accommodation.
