Personal Assistant

An opportunity is available to support a kind gentleman living in the Leyland area. This is an opportunity for a carer to offer support and companionship, 10 hours per week which can be worked flexibly with negotiation.
Duties will involve cleaning, shopping and meal preparation including healthy options. No personal care needed.
Main focus of the role is to work alongside the client encouraging and motivating him to have a full and healthy lifestyle and to be a companion on days out.

An understanding an experience of people living with crowd anxiety and OCD is essential. The aim of the role is by providing emotional support and accompanying to outings and events that the client will grow in confidence and independence.
A car driver with clean driving license and access to own vehicle with business insurance is essential.

This is a part time position for 10 hours per week. There is no requirement for evening work as all hours will be daytime Monday - Friday with the occasional Saturday. Rate of pay is £12 per hour plus 5.6 weeks paid annual leave and a workplace pension scheme.
