Full Job Description
Personal Assistant required for a happy and lively 11 year-old boy who lives in the Saltash area.
He has Autism with complex needs and would like someone who they can build up a positive relationship with and provide them with some 1:1 support.
He would like someone to support him with his communication.
A personal assistant will enable him to enjoy activities in their local community with his family.
Some weekend and school holiday availability will be required.
Some knowledge or personal experience of working with young people with special educational needs is essential.
The successful applicant will be employed under a private arrangement with the family. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
All offers of employment will be subject to the successful candidate undertaking an enhanced DBS check; this administration process will be undertaken by Cornwall Council.
