Full Job Description
Do you want to take part in meaningful work which provides emotional fulfilment, personal growth, and community engagement?
An individual requires support with enhancing their life.
14 hours per week.
PA can be either directly employed or self-employed
Preferred days/times:
AM, Lunchtime and Teatime - 30 mins for each call
3.5 hours per week to be used flexibly to access the community
Tasks/duties:
The client requires support with meal preparation and cooking, and with accessing the community
Client main diagnosis:
Lower back pain
Sciatica
Weight loss
Visual impairment - The client has double vision, which is worse in the morning, eyes that are sensitive to light and can cause Migraines so the client wears sunglasses, and dry eyes for which they have eye drops. The eye conditions can cause issues with sleeping.
Hearing impairment - The client wears hearing aids, the hearing is worse in the left ear, and the client experiences Tinnitus
Hand tremors - Which affects their dexterity
Communication:
The client is partially deaf and requires someone who can speak and enunciate clearly and distinctly
Client enjoys:
Playing the piano, playing scrabble, socialising, and engaging in conversation
There are no pets at the property.
As the client would like to access the community, the PA will be required to have their own vehicle and a Full, clean, UK driving licence. The client will pay mileage.
