    About me:

'I am a 12-year girl who lives in a loving family environment with my 8-year-old sister and great co-parenting parents in their respective homes. We used to live in Scotland but have now moved to Woodbridge. I have a severe and complex form of autism and demand avoidance. I love going on my I Pad, drawing and cutting out pictures. We have 2 guinea pigs called Alice and Dorothy.'

As a family we are looking for someone to help once or twice a week to slowly engage in the home, drawing, reading or just sitting next to our 12-year-old so they can get used to your presence. Hours will be increased once a trusting relationship has been established. Be prepared at first for your presence to be rejected and told no and to go away. This is what has happened in the past but has always ended with a lovely day out enjoyed. Finding someone who will be happy after the initial introduction to be left on their own so that mum and dad can get out for some down time.

An ideal day would be chilling at home for an hour then going to Waldringfield for a walk at the quiet end of the beach then going to Mc Donalds for a happy meal then coming home. If there is a movie that I have shown an interest in going to see, then a trip to the cinema and a Mc Donalds after would be encouraged. Getting out and having enjoyable experiences and time in the community or nature is important.
