Full Job Description

The post is a challenging role and will involve dealing with patients, relatives and internal and external agencies. Enquiries will be of a sensitive/confidential nature.

A full range of administrative and clerical duties will be required and team work will be an essential part of the role as cross cover will be required.

We are looking for a highly self-motivated and organised individual to join our busy, fast paced Accident & Emergency Secretarial service at The Royal Oldham Hospital for a full time post., You will have excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills with the ability to priorities your own workload whilst working quickly and accurately under pressure.

Previous experience in a range of secretarial/office duties is required along with RSA typing (audio, copy and word processing) or equivalent demonstrable skills.

AMSPAR or Medical terminologyqualifications/experiencewould be advantageous.
