Full Job Description

I am a 25 year old stay at home mum who is seeking support to care for myself and assistance caring for my daughter who is 4 years old. I have limb-girdle muscular dystrophy which essentially causes my muscles to deteriorate over time. I am a part-time wheelchair user & use a walking aid to walk. I also have frequent falls. The successful applicant must be able to lift me up daily. Duties include: Personal grooming Moving and handling Other relevant duties as required Housekeeping Shopping Cooking Transportation Companionship Dressing / undressing Bathroom assistance Help care for daughter Day to day activities Possibilities of going on holiday Candidate qualities

Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality Reliable with good timekeeping Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative Hygienic, tidy and well organised Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills Honest and cheerful Creative Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard Must be comfortable with pets Able to always work to high standards of health & safety Experience of being a PA/Carer is essential You must be comfortable with manual handling tasks, I am 5ft6 and weigh around 11.5stones. I do not have a hoist.
