Full Job Description
- To support a 20-year-old male with Autism and epilepsy to access the community. No personal care required. Overnight and weekend support. Main Duties:
- Days out
- Relaxed days in
- Shopping
- Help with meals
- All training given
Respectful of confidentiality and privacy - Responsible, reliable and trustworthy
- Respectful of dignity and independence
- Good communication skills and social skills
- Punctual, reliable and flexible
- Ability to work on your own initiative
- Understanding, adaptable and organised
- Must like cats.
- Car owner with driving licence, use of own vehicle required, and business insurance essential. Parking Available Please note that this role may be subject to a DBS check, your employer may also ask for you to supply references. You must be able to prove the right to work in the UK. No sponsorships are available.
Please note, Compass Disability Services (Compass Independent Living Team) is a support, advisory and payroll service. We support people with a disability or long-term health condition to live independently and retain control of their lives within the community. We are not the person that you will work for. You will work for the individual or family that we are supporting.
Hours: 8 hours per week from 5pm weekdays for 4 hours - can be flexible 2 overnight per month - 6.00pm - 10.00am - can be flexible Pay: £12.50 per hour Job Type: Part time
