Full Job Description

  • Social support assistant required to help a young disabled gentleman maintain his independence.
  • He is a non-speaker who communicates predominantly using an app on his IPad.
  • He enjoys football, rugby, playing on his PS4 and Xbox, trips to theme parks, museums, zoo's, theatre, cinema and work. If you have similar interests then please apply.

  • Must have a UK driving licence
  • Must have access to own vehicle
  • All applicants must be willing to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check Successful applicants will be entitled to Holiday pay and will be issued employment contracts., Typical duties Domestic - Preparing drinks, snacks and meals. Personal Care: Assisting with using the toilet Social: Lifting the folding wheelchair in/out of car, pushing the employer's manual wheelchair when out.
