Full Job Description

We are looking for a PA to have fun with our 15 year old daughter. She has developmental delay and epilepsy. Our daughter is brilliant and loves singing, dancing, reading and shopping. Ideally, we are looking for a PA who shares her interests so she can get as much enjoyment out of your time with her as possible. She has great understanding and loves when people use Makaton, although she does not use this much herself. It's not an essential that you know any but maybe a willingness to learn would be beneficial. Our daughter is very easy going and can communicate her wants and needs very well. She is a great person to be around so we feel this could be very rewarding. Other Requirements

  • Must have a UK driving licence
  • Must have access to own vehicle. Mileage is paid at 25p per mile

  • All applicants must be willing to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check if required. Successful applicants will be entitled to Holiday pay and will be issued employment contracts., Typical duties
  • Personal care including bathroom assistance.
  • Eating and Drinking assistance
  • Moving and handling. Our daughter is able to walk but will use a wheelchair depending on the day
  • Other relevant duties as required
