Full Job Description

Hours per week: 4 hours per week - Saturdays or Sundays only with the aim to increase in the future to a monthly overnight

Hourly pay rate: To be discussed

Are you patient, energetic, and love staying active? I'm looking for someone just like you to help support my nonverbal 7-year-old son, ensuring his safety and happiness while out and about. He's a joyful boy with a love for bouncing, swimming, animals, and outdoor adventures. Whether it's soft play, trampoline parks, or a day at the pool, he's always ready for fun. At times, he may use a walking harness or stroller to stay comfortable and safe. If you're someone who enjoys being on the move and working with kids, I'd love to hear from you!

Duties include:

Eating and drinking assistance
Moving and handling
Dressing / undressing
Bathroom assistance
Bathroom assistance includes pads changing as they are doubly incontinent
Candidate qualities

Reliable with good timekeeping
Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative Hygienic, tidy and well organised
Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
Honest and cheerful
Creative
Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
