Personal Assistant to Director of R&D and R&D SMT

We are looking for an experienced Administrator to support Research & Development at Barts Health, providing PA support to the Director and R&D Senior Management Team including Clinical Directors and Deputy Clinical Directors.
The role will involve providing a high quality, comprehensive and responsive secretarial service and administrative support to the Director of R&D and the Senior Management Team.
The post holder will play a key role in organising and developing the Barts Health R&D Office, including support for recruitment and management of organizational changes processes, and any other administrative tasks as required., · Provide a high quality, comprehensive and responsive secretarial service and administrative support to the Director of R&D, working closely with the R&D Senior Management Team to ensure that their demanding diaries are managed effectively. The post holder will need to demonstrate excellent administrative and organizational skills to undertake project management of key work areas.
· Work closely with the R&D Senior Management Team, providing cross-cover and ensuring that workload is supported.
· Work closely with the R&D Senior Management Team to ensure that all communications and workloads are linked.
· Provide and receive complex, sensitive and contentious information.
· Nurture key relationships and maintain networks internally and externally, including national networks.
