Our son has a diagnoses of ASC and sensory processing difficulties. To ensure his safety he requires support and guidance from others. He is nonverbal and will demonstrate what he wants by showing or taking the person. Enjoying football, swimming and water in general, our son will benefit from the support of physically fit personal assistants who are able to provide social stimulation both within our home and garden and within the local community We are flexible regarding hours and willing to accumulate to enable longer periods of support Main Duties

• To support the individual to manage their personal care routine, assisting where needed and encouraging to maximise independence.
• Support with dressing, toileting and eating
• To provide social stimulation by way of playing games in the home and garden
with trips to the swimming pool and other activities within the local community

Personal Assistants required to support our twelve-year-old son who lives with us and his siblings in Rhuddlan. Providing an average of three hours support per week the successful applicant will be approachable, fun loving, patient and physically fit.,
• Patient with a kind and caring attitude.

• Ability to promote independence and provide encouragement and confidence
• Energetic & Fun loving with a good sense of humour
• Able to work flexible hours., Experience of providing support and care
• First aid
• Manual handling training
• Driving licence preferable
  
  5.6 weeks' holiday per year (pro-rata)
