Duties include: Medication prompting/administering Personal grooming Eating and drinking assistance Moving and handling Clinical tasks Other relevant duties as required Administration Housekeeping Shopping Cooking Transportation Companionship Dressing / undressing Bathroom assistance I wear an extensive plastic body brace at all times and am unable to come out of it. This means I cannot bend or sit down so have to be washed within my body brace, lying down on my bed. I am able to wash my hands, face and brush my teeth but you will have to be comfortable with all other aspects of personal care. Daily bed bath Foot care Reporting on the condition of my brace Coping with accidents and illness Monitoring pressure sored caused by the brace. Accessing the local community Driving me to and from appointments, visiting friends and family, and the shops., vulnerable to the risk of infection and disease transmission. Preference may be given to applicants who have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19. Careful consideration will be given to applicants who can show the vaccination is not suitable for them on reasonable grounds. Additional requirements Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours Notes: All applicants must have the right to work in the UK and be willing to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check if required. Please note, if you are successful in your application for this position you will be employed directly by the individual employer and not Independent Lives. Successful applicants will be entitled to Holiday pay and will be issued employment contracts.

Shifts available - Monday & Friday 6 pm to 11 pm Every other Wednesday 6 pm to 11 pm One Saturday in four 7:45 am to 4 pm. Hourly pay rate: Weekdays - £15.50. Weekends - £16.50 per hour.
