Full Job Description

I am a friendly gentleman who, due to health issues, is seeking a female carer to assist me with everyday living tasks such domestic care, some personal care and meal prep. I require someone who can work; four hours a day, three days a week, on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The exact times of which are negotiable at interview. Due to mobility issues, I can be prone to falls, as such I require someone who can watch over me while I shower and on occasion, assist me with getting dressed. I also require someone who can assist with general household cleaning, such as clothes washing, changing the beds, vacuuming etc. I have OCD, as such it is important that I maintain a clean household. I also require someone who can assist with the safe administration of my medication, such as organising my medication into a dosette box and helping me to apply ibuprofen gel to my feet.

    The rate of pay for this position, for employed workers is £13 per hour
  • The self-employed rate for this position is £16.39 per hour
  • - Self-employed worker will be required to be registered for self-assessment and obtain public liability insurance
  • You will be reimbursed for any agreed expense as part of this role
  • Access to free Care Skills training for employed workers
  • If the role includes any of the following: manual Handling, handling of hazardous chemicals or food handling, you will be required to undertake annual training
  • Hours and days of work: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays for 4 hours each day. Times of which are negotiable at interview
  • The post is subject to the following:
  • A satisfactory Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer
  • Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer
