Full Job Description

  • Equalised maternity, paternity, adoption leave and pay for all new parents


  • What you'll be doing
  • Identify emerging large and complex claims in area and refer them to the Specialist Claims Consultants at an early stage.


  • Contribute to shaping the claims strategy and project plans on large and complex claims.


  • Act as the main point of contact for customers on large and complex claims where NHBC are undertaking repairs.


  • Manage customers' expectations, explaining decisions succinctly and well, and detailing what will happen to deliver the claims solution.


  • Ensure complaints are managed in a timely and pro-active manner, with adherence to required timescales and regulatory requirements.


  • Identify, own and manage the risks involved in running our business appropriate to the role in line with NHBC policies and procedures.

    A background in insurance claims handling.


  • Project Management experience.


  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.


  • Forward thinking skills.


  • Organised.

  • Claims Processing: 1 year (preferred)

    Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 depending on experience plus 10% bonus.


  • Working Location: Milton Keynes

  • This role is subject to additional IDD checks
