Wiltshire College & University Centre invites applications for the position of Personal, Social Development & Employability Tutor at our vibrant Lackham campus. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team committed to fostering personal growth, development, and employability skills among our diverse student body.,

  • Engagement and Delivery: Design and deliver interactive sessions aimed at promoting personal development and growth among students.
  • Tailored Support: Customise sessions to address the unique needs of student groups, covering topics such as online safety, sexual violence prevention, and British Values.
  • Cross-College Coordination: Organise and lead themed weeks focusing on careers, health, wellbeing, and enrichment activities to enrich the student experience.
  • Holistic Student Development: Implement student-centered programs emphasising softer outcomes to facilitate positive progression into adulthood.
  • Employability Focus: Enhance students' work readiness through targeted initiatives and support.
  • Pastoral Support: Provide personalized pastoral tutorials, guiding students to relevant internal and external resources as needed.
  • Student Engagement: Actively support initiatives promoting student engagement and voice within the college community.
  • Team Collaboration: Assist Student Services teams with safeguarding, work experience, and careers guidance.

    Educational Experience: Demonstrated experience managing student groups in an educational setting, with a proven ability to engage and support diverse student populations.
  • Skills Expertise: Background in delivering support across health, wellbeing, study skills, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, and employability domains.
  • Administrative Proficiency: Strong record-keeping abilities, adept at data inputting, and capable of delivering timely and accurate reports.
