Full Job Description

Being an active and engaged member of the nursing team supporting the delivery of direct patient care across all the various outpatient clinics.

Undertaking a range of clinical skills within professional scope of practice, including being proficient at undertaking the following : nursing assessments, vital observations, ECGs, phlebotomy, medication management, administering injections, and cannulation.

The outpatient department has close working relationships with the other care providers on site and we benefit from having a bright, modern building with good facilities and parking available on site.

The role of the Nursing Associate is to work with the multi professional team and the Registered Nurse to contribute towards the assessment, delivery and monitoring of clinical care in line with service and patient needs, as agreed with supervising clinicians.

You will undertake direct patient care across all the various outpatient clinics. You will undertake a range of clinical skills within professional scope of practice, including being proficient at undertaking the following : nursing assessments, vital observations, ECGs, phlebotomy, medication management, administering injections, and cannulation.
