Full Job Description

Pfizer is looking to recruit a Digital Marketing apprentice. You will work within the Oncology Business Unit and help support the Omni-Channel Lead and wider Omni-Channel Team as well as the Commercial, Marketing and Brand teams., The Digital Marketing Apprentice is an exciting role within the Oncology Business Unit (OBU). This is a dynamic position working very closely with the Omni-Channel Lead and wider Omni-Channel Team as well as the Commercial, Marketing and Brand teams.,

  • Basic knowledge of Digital Campaigns and Performance marketing experience.
  • Have an astute eye for detail to support in the management and optimization of our email campaigns/digital marketing collateral - ensuring we generate quality, timely and engaging content to help drive incremental open and click-through rates and higher levels of engagement.
  • Ensure creative Digital assets are briefed and delivered on time and on budget for key events throughout the year.
  • Support the team in managing integrated Digital campaigns employing different media in an omnichannel environment
  • Have a basic understanding of Email, Content, U/X, Search, Paid Social, Video and channel marketingUnderstands data, analytics and insight, and well versed in interpreting data into meaningful information to help steer decision making
  • Main Duties include:

    5 GCSEs at grades C/4 or above (or equivalent) including mathematics and English.
  • A Levels at BCC worth 104 UCAS points or:
  • BTEC National Diploma DMM worth 112 UCAS points or:
  • Access to HE qualifications with 9 Distinctions and 36 Merits or:
  • Equivalent Level 3 qualifications worth 112 UCAS points, Focus on digital marketing channels with the ability to design, deploy and analyse emails, social media, and other digital campaigns.
  • Managing the brand's PfizerPro website: creation of new pages, updating existing ones, optimising user experience, creating user journeys, and driving traffic to the site. While also ensuring compliance and that metadata and site plans are up to date.
  • Good design skills to use software such as Adobe Express and/or Adobe Photoshop to create assets for social media, emails, the website.
  • Designing and deploying various marketing assets/collateral for our FF such as RTEs, meeting invites etc.
  • Supporting with different types of meetings/events (HCP focused) such as in-person, virtual and hybrid. Liaising with the event, A/V agency, creating promotional material, admin tasks, support on the day.
  • Copywriting skills for emails, website pages and more- particularly good to be able to grasp scientific concepts quickly to write for our audience.

  • Analytical mindset and critical thinking to create performance reports for the website, marketing campaigns, and drawing insights that help inform future projects.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects with tight timelines.
  • Flexible with the ability to act both proactively and reactively and quickly adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Someone that has excellent organisational skills and can manage projects across different stages i.e., creation-code review process-feedback/changes-deployment- performance review- ensuring material are compliant and regular checks are performed.
  • Ability to collaborate well with different stakeholders, receive multiple rounds of feedback to drive projects across the line.
  • Attention to detail to quickly spot any errors, typos, issues with material., The apprentice must be able to demonstrate the required attitudes, behaviours and interpersonal skills associated with the professional workplace. The apprentice must be willing to commit an amount of personal time to study. Please ensure you check out travel options to be able to commute to the workplace.
