The role of Business Manager - Widening Participation (WP) will work alongside the Postgraduate Medical and Dental Education Lead to raise aspirations and promote Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust as an employer of choice.
The post holder is expected to provide and support our widening participation opportunities across the trust to support our community promise and enable us to attract our future workforce.
To improve the use of digital platforms to improve engagement and accessibility of our widening participation initiatives.
Our placement opportunities expanse across various settings and includes initiatives such as GOSH Young Visitors Programme, NHS Kickstart, and the HOPE Initiative.

+ You will require a good background in education and training.
+ Previous experience within an acute trust or a regulatory body such as NHSE.
+ You will have strong management and leadership skills and be able to work effectively in our ambitious and rapidly expanding environment.
+ The ideal candidate must be able to communicate effectively with all stakeholders, be well organised and able to balance the competing demands of the role.

The recruitment process for all admin and clerical roles at Bands 2-4 will be a two stage recruitment process whereby shortlisted candidates will undertake an online literacy, numeracy, ICT and typing test. Only those candidates who pass the competency test will proceed to a formal interview.
