Full Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated person to join our admin team within the Pharmacy Department at Chesterfield Royal Hospital Foundation Trust. You will join a dedicated and enthusiastic administration team who support approximately 170 pharmacy staff working at CRH and Royal Primary Care. General administration duties relating to HR processes, payroll, recruitment, rostering, sickness etc.
Chesterfield Royal is North Derbyshire's only acute district general hospital, with 24 hour Emergency Department services. Pharmacy Services
1. Manage the distribution of departmental correspondence.
2. Ensure that Trust policies/procedures and department records are kept up to date including staff lists, essential training records etc.
3. To co-ordinate the recruitment of new staff including advertising, organisation of interviews, reference requests, employment checks and the ordering of new uniforms etc.
4. To manage departmental personnel files, co-ordinating hospital/departmental induction for new staff and terminations for leavers.
5. To maintain records relating to annual leave, sickness absence, staff appraisal and mandatory training, ensuring that department targets are met.
6. To maintain accurate records on the hospital e-rostering system, liaising with the e-rostering team when required.
7. To co-ordinate the arrangement of formal sickness absence reviews, maintaining appropriate records.
8. To undertake the ordering of sundry items via the Unit4 ordering system including renewal of subscriptions etc.
9. To liaise with the hospital estates department regarding departmental maintenance matters.
Medicines Management Services
1. Provide secretarial support and minute taking to the Trust Drug and Therapeutics Committee Thrombosis Subgroup and other pharmacy meetings as required.
2. Support the clinical pharmacy team in the preparation of documents, reports, presentations etc.
3. Co-ordinate meetings, catering, room bookings etc., as requested by the Chief Pharmacist and Head of Medicines Management or other staff as required.
4. Maintain equipment and materials including departmental stationery, computer sundries etc
