Pharmacy Assistant

As a Pharmacy Assistant, your responsibilities will vary. You will

• Complete general dispensary duties and stock management


• Be working as an active member of the Pharmaceutical team to ensure delivery of the pharmaceutical service


• Provide a timely and efficient service to the prison wings


• Receive prescriptions and stick returns from wing based clinical areas


• Collect orders from suppliers from the Main Gate and arrange collection of return


• Participate in dispensing of prescriptions.

  NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Service Skills/equivalent or working towards


• Medicines handing experience desirable not essential


• Level 2 English and Maths or equivalent


• A non-judgmental and compassionate approach


• Excellent communication skills


• Good IT skills and IT literacy


• Ability to work within a busy environment


• Ability to work unsupervised whilst following policy and procedures

For a full time role you will be required to work 37.5 hours per week over the following shifts:
7am to 3pm 11am to 7pm 8am to 4pm We are able to offer some flexibility in the hours that you will work., This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to £27195 per annum - depending on experience., £23,100 to £27,195 a year Paying up to £27195 - Depending on experience
