Full Job Description

As our new Pharmacy Assistant, your responsibilities will vary. Some of your duties will include:

  • Provide high quality support to the supply, preparation and assembly of medicines under the direction of the responsible Pharmacist

  • Contribute to services such as medicine reconciliation, managing stock medicines and transportation of medicines

  • Provide support to ensure a safe and secure medicines management service, following policies, procedures and standard operating procedures

  • Be a key member of a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare professionals

    Our new Pharmacy Assistant will:
  • Ideally have experience within a Pharmacy environment (such as community or hospital based), but this isn't essential

  • Hold an NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Service Skills, or equivalent, or working towards this

  • Ideally have medicines handling experience, although this isn't essential

  • Be a hard worker, diligent, with a high attention to detail

  • Have a keen interest in Pharmacy work

    This is a part time role, 30 hours per week, working the following shifts: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 08:00 - 16:00, This is a part time role, and the salary is £23,100 pro rata, It doesnt stop there we also offer:
