Full Job Description
An exciting opportunity to join the busy Aseptic Services Department has arisen at Cheltenham General Hospital. This post is based at Cheltenham General Hospital . As part of the 3 Counties Cancer Network (3 CCN), our aseptic services unit prepares chemotherapy for patients from Gloucestershire and the surrounding area. We require an experienced pharmacy assistant to join our production team.
Duties include compounding of aseptic drugs , mainly chemotherapy. Preparation of worksheets, labelling of aseptic pharmaceutical products and assisting the technicians in the clean room., To participate as an aseptic operative in the provision of a safe, efficient and timely aseptic production service.
To ensure that the service complies with all relevant legislation, good practice and quality standards.
To assist in the training of new staff members, and to provide on-going support and training to all staff
