Full Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, enthusiastic, highly motivated and resourceful person with excellent communication and organisational skills to join our Quality Assurance team. As the Pharmacy Assistant in QA, your role will be to work alongside the Chief Pharmacy Technician in QA and assist in the Quality Management System required to maintain the equipment and environment within the Aseptic unit. You will assist in carrying out the day to day monitoring and testing (both physical and microbiological) of the environment, processes and the finished products. You will be responsible for ensuring that where appropriate the findings are accurate and are reported in a timely manner., You will be based at Tunbridge Wells hospital in Pembury. This position is for anyone with an interest in improving product quality through monitoring and inspection ensuring products meet specification. No previous experience is necessary as you will undertake specialist training from the minute you start. A professional career progression plan will be drawn up to help you gain more knowledge, progress within the role, become more confident and expand on your skills in QA. There will also be regular reviews to discuss progress and plan for the next set of actions.
As a Pharmacy Assistant in QA you should hold the required qualification and grades in Maths and English as set out in the job description.
