An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Pharmacy Business Manager working as part of our Trust Wide Pharmacy Team. You will provide business management support to the Pharmacy Department, working effectively with our Clinical Board, Commercial Enterprise Team (CET), finance, human resources, IM&T and the Senior Pharmacy Management Team.

Please expand the job details section and read all of the information before applying for the vacancy, The role will produce, negotiate and monitor Customer Contracts, Service Level Agreements, Business Cases and Capital Bids for the Pharmacy Directorate, Newcastle Specials Pharmacy Production Unit and the Advanced Therapies Service. Working closely with Newcastle Specials and Advanced Therapies, you will manage our business office, be responsible for developing business cases, financial management and planning, sales &marketing, maintaining and developing customer relations and new accounts growth. You will work to achieve sales targets, supporting continued development and expansion plans with a growing commercial focus., + To provide an effective business management support to the Pharmacy Directorate, working effectively with the Commercial Enterprise Team (CET), finance, human resources, IM&T and the Senior Pharmacy Management Team.
+ To produce, negotiate and monitor Customer Contracts, Service Level Agreements, Business Cases and Capital Bids for the Pharmacy Directorate, Newcastle Specials Pharmacy Production Unit and the Advanced Therapies service.
+ To co-ordinate the Business Planning of the Pharmacy Directorate and the Newcastle Specials and Advanced Therapy services.
+ To manage all aspects of business infrastructure within the Pharmacy Directorate.
+ To be responsible for aspects of the sales and marketing of Newcastle Specials and Advanced Therapy services.
+ To be responsible for maintaining and improving customer relations for the Newcastle Specials and Advanced Therapy services, including developing new accounts and customers.
+ To assist in the development and execution of expansion plans.
+ To achieve agreed sales targets.
+ To develop and maintain a close working relationship with Newcastle Hospital's Commercial Enterprise Team, with the objective of using combined knowledge and expertise to undertake key project work in growing the commercialisation of Newcastle Specials and Advanced Therapy services.

The successful applicant will have a postgraduate management qualification to masters levels and or relevant management experience. You will be proactive, self-motivated and able to plan and organise a range of complex activities. You will have significant experience in NHS primary, secondary and retail pharmaceutical care services. With excellent communication skills, you will be able to communicate and present highly complex pharmaceutical and financial information to a range of different audiences. You will have well -developed leadership and motivational skills, with a positive and optimistic approach and thrive in an ever-changing environment, driving business growth and alignment with Trust values and core behaviours to meet highest standards for our customers and patients.
