Full Job Description

The Pharmacy Systems Coordinator will be responsible for oversight and integrity of pharmacy systems and applications that support pharmacy operations and services. You'll work within Pharmacy and collaboratively across the hospital to provide training, technical support and provide issue resolution for all users of pharmacy systems. You will have experience working in IT support / complex IT Systems, and manager trained user of Pyxis ES, Ascribe System and Compucare. You'll participate in the planning, implementation and oversight of new installations and upgrades of pharmacy systems to include user training, routine maintenance, troubleshooting and resolution management of systems and associated equipment. You'll support implementation, utilisation and maintenance of pharmacy-related clinical and charging digital systems, daily controlled drug charging reconciliation, ensure accurate maintenance of electronic drug files, develop and maintain / upgrade databases and provide accurate reporting.
