Full Job Description

Diamond Health Group has an exciting opportunity to recruit a forward-thinking pharmacy technician to join our well established practice team., We are looking to recruit a skilled, experienced and enthusiastic pharmacy technician to support our medicines management team. You will be working with the support of our experienced practice pharmacist and prescription clerks, in order to assist with a variety of tasks including medicines reconciliation, resolving medication queries from patients and community pharmacies, drug monitoring, updating processes and supporting patient safety., To support the practice in providing safe, effective and efficient systems for medicines reconciliation on transfer of care.

Leading the prescription team in processing repeat prescription requests, ensuring safe systems and supporting them in resolving queries.

Helping patients to get the best from their medicines by supporting systems to improve the continuity of care, supporting improvements to streamline the repeat prescribing processes, minimising clinical risk and reducing waste.

Diamond Health Group is situated in central Yeovil, with a branch site on the outskirts at Abbey Manor Park; we are an established and dynamic Practice, with a list size of approximately 14,000 patients. The hours for the position will be flexible and negotiable up to 37.5 hours per week (full time) and applications are welcome for both full time and part-time hours.

We offer 27 days annual leave per year (pro rata) and enrolment in the NHS Pension Scheme.
