Full Job Description
- The main duties of the role will be: o Medicines reconciliation and review on admission. o Providing support and information to patients and carers to assist with the management of their medicines. o Optimising medicines, taking a holistic view of both mental and physical healthcare needs. o Providing physical health and wellbeing advice to patients, carers and staff. o Discharge planning, liaison with patients, carers, community teams and pharmacies. Operational support to the main dispensary at SNH by performing regular accuracy checking slots.
We welcome applications from registered Pharmacy Technician colleagues or those Pre-Registration Trainee Pharmacy Technicians who are due to qualify before April 2025 working in all sectors of the profession. Prior experience working in mental health is not required as a comprehensive programme of training and clinical supervision will be provided.
