Full Job Description
In the Dispensary you will contribute to the dispensing of prescription items for in-patients, some out-patients and discharge requests. You will also provide support to the medicines management service including patient's own drug usage schemes.
In the Aseptic unit you will participate in the preparation of CIVAs, cytotoxic medicine and TPN. You will also assist in ensuring the cleaning and monitoring of the suite is maintained at an appropriate level.
It is essential that you are registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the GPhC.
If you have good communication skills, are keen to develop within a specialist area of Pharmacy and are able to work well within a team then this is the job for you!, Previous experience within a hospital environment is not essential as full training can be provided.
