Full Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative and self motivated individual to join our expanding pharmacy clinical trials team. The team at Sheffield Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust comprises of approximately 500 pharmacy staff working across five sites and is one of the biggest pharmacy departments in the country.
This is an exciting opportunity to join us as a band 4 or 5 pharmacy technician, depending on experience, to specialise in clinical trials. We work closely with other departments within the pharmacy, medical, university and research staff to support clinical trials at our Trust.
We will provide clinical trials training, support you to complete NIHR GCP training and become a competent member of the pharmacy clinical trials team., You will participate in the planning, organisation, provision and maintenance of the clinical trials service and to be part of the flexible working team in line with current departmental policies and procedures for Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, current UK and EU legislation.
Please also note this vacancy is banded dependent upon applicants experience relevant to this post. The banding of the successful applicant/s will start at Band 4 unless applicants meet the necessary threshold of skills and experience required to start on Band 5.
