Full Job Description

Walsall West One PCN Walsall Division has a full-time vacancy for a Pharmacy Technician. The postholder will be a high performing Pharmacy Technician, working across the Partnership and local PCN providing Pharmacy Technician support along with Pharmacists, who together with digital enablers such as online consultations, will create an innovative pharmacy hub for patients. This job is suitable for individuals who are career driven and have a passion for patient care and supporting patients with their health outcomes. Working with the wider team such as Pharmacists, Prescribing teams, and GPs to ensure prescribing targets are met and changes are made in a timely manner., The postholder will work as part of Modality Partnership Walsall Division working as part of a pan-divisional pharmacy hub which will include pharmacy administrators, pharmacy technicians & prescribing pharmacists, and who will deal with all pharmacy related patient inquiries, as well as the delivery of structured medication reviews, high-risk drug monitoring, medicines reconciliation, repeat medication facilitation, drug audits and other clinical work depending on your competencies.

The role is not a regular 9am-5pm job; the job requires innovation, flexibility, and commitment and the postholder will be required to work resourcefully as part of the team to ensure tasks are completed.
