Full Job Description

As Philanthropy Manager, you will be responsible for researching, establishing and developing a major gifts strategy and programme for the charity, in liaison with the Head of Fundraising. The role also encompasses building relationships with an existing portfolio of Trusts and Foundations, whilst researching and engaging new funders in order to secure sustainable income., You will work remotely with regular attendance at DAA Head Office in Exeter. This role will involve a reasonable amount of travel around the county therefore a full driving license is essential (subject to a maximum of 3 penalty points) and access to a vehicle., Please note we're not responsible for the content of job ads, as they're posted by the recruiter. We're looking for someone with excellent communication and relationship building skills who can effectively cultivate and build relationships with prospects and donors, proving an outstanding supporter experience. You'll demonstrate your ability to develop relationships with high-net-worth individuals or high value partnerships, preferably in a charity or similar target-driven environment. You will have experience of working across an organisation to establish and/or grow a major gifts function, successfully soliciting major gifts for capital and revenue campaigns. You have proficient digital and research skills and a proven ability to analyse and evaluate data.
