Full Job Description

In this role you will provide a phlebotomy service to a busy department. You will work as part of a reliable and responsive clinical team with all colleagues., You will provide expert phlebotomy services and must demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills. You must have the ability to function as part of a highly effective team that consistently puts "Patients First". You will be responsible for venepuncture collection and specimen processing. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to: order entry in multiple systems, verification of test result receipt, patient information retrieval and lab reception/clerical duties and functions.

In return we will provide a comprehensive induction programme and you will be appraised on a yearly basis with a view to developing knowledge and skills where appropriate, and organisational problems to the attention of more senior staff
