Full Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Domiciliary phlebotomy service when required with opportunity to work in clinic.Our ideal candidate will be an experienced Phlebotomist , be extremely well organised, flexible, approachable, professional and above all compassionate to the needs of both patients and team members within the service and other health professionals.,
- To undertake venepuncture from patients in the blood clinic or a domicile community setting home visits.
- The phlebotomist will be expected to bleed one patient every 8 minutes while working in the clinic.
- To maintain the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to deliver a quality service that is responsive to the needs of
- To use opportunistic opportunities to promote health that will help to maintain a person's health and level of self-care.
- To report any changes in condition of the patient to the Team Leader or in their absence the designated Phlebotomist in charge.
- To complete all documents accurately and with concise information as per local guidelines.
You will need to have a good sense of humour in order to blend well within the team, and a calm and considered approach to your work.
