Full Job Description
This is a unique opportunity for someone to provide a crucial role in ensuring that individuals with mental health issues receive comprehensive care that includes their physical health needs and considers the importance of wellbeing interventions. You will be working in partnership with other healthcare providers to deliver holistic care that addresses both mental and physical health needs. You will be facilitating access to healthy lifestyle options, such as smoking cessation programmes, physical exercise and relaxation therapy. You will be working as a member of the Occupational Therapy Team and work collaboratively with other members of the MDT.Main duties of the job Actively encouraging and improving the health and wellbeing of people who use in-patient services at the Rochford Hospital. You will be part of the Occupational Therapy team who deliver a variety of therapeutic activities. You will ensure that individuals with mental health issues receive comprehensive care that includes their physical health needs and considers the importance of wellbeing interventions. You will be working in partnership with other healthcare providers to deliver holistic care that addresses both mental and physical health needs. You will be facilitating access to healthy lifestyle options, such as smoking cessation programmes, physical exercise and relaxation therapy. You will be working as a member of the Occupational Therapy Team and work collaboratively with other members of the MDT.
