Full Job Description

William Morris Sixth Form, situated in Hammersmith, was established as the country's first 16-19 comprehensive school. We offer 850 students from West London and beyond an exciting range of academic and vocational courses from foundation learning through to advanced level. WMSF is an over-subscribed, vibrant, inner-city learning community that has the individual student at the heart of everything it does.

The dynamic Science Department at WMSF is looking for a part-time Physics Teacher. The teaching responsibilities would be mainly A level, teaching Physics to both year one and year two students.

The role is offered on a part-time basis (three days a week) for teachers wanting to reduce working hours and concentrate on A level teaching or a teacher looking to return to work with fewer working hours and a high interest in A level teaching.

In return, we aim to create a friendly, supportive and open culture in which staff can develop and thrive. Professional development for all staff is taken seriously, and many opportunities are offered both in-house and externally.
