Full Job Description

If you are passionate about inpatient rehab, working as part of an MDT, being a clinical exemplar and leading a team then this is the job for you.

Suitable for an experienced B6 or B7, this post is an ideal opportunity to expand both your clinical and operational leadership skills. Working in hand with the OT Lead and in conjunction with the Service Manager, you will be supported to develop your own skills and the quality of the service delivered to patients at Farnham.

With close links with both the community and the acute therapy teams, as well as the therapy teams in HCRG, you will receive peer support, regular supervision and IST. We will also support you to complete additional CPD modules, both internally and externally to the Trust.

The team covers a rota 7 days a week, with usual working hours 8am-4pm, although on occasion these could be different.

Main duties of the job

To provide expert clinical leadership within the MDT

Undertake professional leadership and act as a clinical exemplar within the team

To act as an autonomous clinician accountable for both your own and all delegated clinical tasks

Contribute to the development of service strategy and clinical standard operating procedures

Establish local networks internally and externally

Represent the team and the service at Trust and, where appropriate, strategic meetings
