Full Job Description

We are recruiting a Physiotherapist to our Independent Living Team. In line with our mission, we continue to strive for something better,in ensuring the best end of life care for our beneficiaries; the role of Physiotherapist will play a part in driving this forwards. Alongside our Occupational Therapist and Therapy Assistant, you will support the delivery of a model of palliative rehabilitation, making a difference for the people in our care, both on Sylvan Ward and in their own homes., You will support patients, their families and carers who have complex physical, psychological and spiritual needs that are related to their palliative diagnosis. You will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team including our Alliance partners to ensure that specialist therapy resource is used effectively; this will include working with people on a 1:1 basis and by group work, to support our aspiration to deliver locality based services.

St Nicholas Hospice Care is a local charity providing help, advice and support to people in West Suffolk and Thetford who are living with long-term and life-threatening illnesses. Our services are not just for patients, but for their family and friends too. They include everything from specialist medical care to bereavement support and practical help.
