Full Job Description

The Physiotherapist is responsible for providing specialized care to individuals with physical impairments or injuries. This role involves assessing physical conditions, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, function, and quality of life. Responsibilities

  • Physical Assessment:
  • + Conduct comprehensive physical assessments to evaluate musculoskeletal function, range of motion, strength, and coordination. + Identify underlying causes of physical impairments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Therapeutic Interventions:
  • + Implement a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise therapy, modalities (e.g., heat, cold, ultrasound), and electrotherapy. + Develop and supervise exercise programs to improve strength, flexibility, and endurance. + Provide education and guidance on home exercise programs.
  • Pain Management:
  • + Assess and manage pain using various techniques, including pain education, relaxation techniques, and modalities.
  • Rehabilitation:
  • + Assist patients in regaining functional independence following injuries or illnesses. + Develop and implement rehabilitation programs to improve mobility, balance, and coordination.
  • Community Outreach:
  • + Participate in community outreach programs to promote physical health and prevent injuries. + Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community organizations.
  • Documentation:
  • + Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including documenting assessments, treatment plans, and progress.

  • Physical Therapy degree or diploma
  • Registration with the relevant physiotherapy board
  • Experience in providing physiotherapy care
