Full Job Description

We are have an exciting opportunity for a Physiotherapist to join our team on the Isle of Wight.

The successful candidate will independently perform physiotherapeutic assessment of patients with diverse presentations, complex physical and psychological conditions and to provide a diagnosis in order to develop and deliver an individualised treatment programme.

You will independently hold responsibility for own caseload within the rotation and be responsible for independently maintaining associated records with support of a designated senior clinician. Supervision taking the form of regular formal training and clinical reasoning sessions, peer review and case conferences., Some of the key duties will be:

To undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner, with support from senior clinicians.

To assist in the supervision, education and assessment of performance of physiotherapy students.

To be responsible for maintaining own professional development as well as undertaking evidence-based audit and projects to further own and teams clinical practice within each rotation, making recommendations to clinical lead/manager of service for changes to practice by the team.
