Full Job Description

Are you an experienced Physiotherapist looking for a new role with a difference outside the NHS or private practice, where your pay remains competitive? About the role An opportunity has arisen for us to expand our outstanding Health Agency. We are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Physiotherapist to work with children and young people with complex needs at St Elizabeth's. This role offers immense job satisfaction, and the ability to make the difference to our residents and students' lives. You will be an autonomous practitioner (not without the support of our enthusiastic multi-disciplinary team of therapy and nursing professionals!) and will have responsibility for the assessment, diagnoses and formulation of individualised treatment plans for children and young people who have highly complex presentations. Part time applications will be considered. Our Therapy team is committed to providing high quality, holistic person-centred therapy and support enabling people to maximise their potential. We also work in partnership with GP's, Psychiatrists, and lead Neurologists from both Great Ormond Street and the National Hospital for Epilepsy.

You'll be a positive person who possesses excellent communication and professional skills along with extensive experience of working within a range of clinical settings with adults/children who have complex and physical needs. You will have significant post registration experience, along with the ability to autonomously assess, plan and evaluate therapy programmes and manage diverse complex interventions. This is a great opportunity for someone who has a diploma/degree in Physiotherapy who is HCPC registered and a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, looking to take on a new and exciting challenge.

We are committed to providing a work environment where you can thrive and therefore offer a desirable shift pattern of 9am - 5pm with flexibility on occasion to meet the needs of the service. Why work for us In addition to excellent staff training, our employees are also rewarded with various other benefits offered as part of your employment: · 25-27 days' annual leave (depending on whether you join us as Band 6 or 7) · Eligible for Blue Light card - discounts on big brands! · Discounted gym membership · Employee recognition scheme · Life assurance · Free on-site parking · Recommend a friend payment up to £500!

  • · Confidential employee assistance programme · Fully paid for DBS · Contributory pension scheme - eligible employees are automatically enrolled after 3 months at 5% (3% employer contribution)
