Full Job Description

This is a qualified post and provides an opportunity for the Therapist to consolidate core skills and competencies.

The key function of this role is mainly clinical and concentrates on the assessment of patients referred to the service. The post holder will work under the supervision of a senior therapist, and be part of the planning and implementation of therapy intervention in partnership with patients under their care.These posts are rotational to ensure a rounded learning opportunity.

We are looking for an enthusiastic band 5 Physiotherapist with an interest in musculoskeletal therapy to join our team. The post will allow you to gain experience in treating a variety of MSK conditions, post-operative rehab, rheumatology, chronic pain and gain experience in group rehab. There are excellent CPD opportunities in a friendly, supportive team alongside protected mentoring time with senior staff. The team is committed to developing individuals and has a robust in service training programme.

Successful applicants will have completed an MSK placement and be able to demonstrate enthusiasm for MSK with excellent communication skills. There is a requirement to work on a rota basis to cover weekend & Bank Holidays as part of the current 7 day service.
