Full Job Description
The post holder will work within the growing therapy team which includes a head of therapies, supportive clinical leads, a band 8a respiratory clinical specialist and a team of physiotherapists, occupational therapists and rehabilitation support workers.
You will manage a varied caseload of acute patients including those requiring acute respiratory management, ICU step down care, post surgery and post amputation. You will lead the early rehabilitation of amputee patients on the wards and see them through their rehabilitation journey as outpatients.
You will have responsibility to support the MDT to maintain flow through the busy hospital, being lead on complex discharge planning and acute early rehabilitation.
