Full Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic Physiotherapist, Band 5 to join our KMPT Physiotherapy team.
We are in the process of redesigning and developing Physiotherapy services across all of our mental health inpatient wards and there are many new opportunities for developing physiotherapy practice and promoting the profession.
The work is varied and involves assessing and treating Younger & Older adult in-patients at our Canterbury Inpatient sites. You will need to be innovative and be able to think out of the box to enable our patients to achieve their potential.
Regular clinical supervision will be provided by the Physiotherapy Team Lead.
The Trust is committed to continuing professional development. The KMPT physiotherapy team have regular team meetings and opportunities for supervision, appraisal and informal peer support.
Experience in mental health is advantageous but not essential, although you will need a broad base of clinical knowledge and excellent assessment/communication skills.
