Full Job Description

To help deliver a comprehensive physiotherapy service to patients in the area of specialty that you are working in.

To perform advanced physiotherapeutic assessment of patients with a diverse and often complex presentation. You will require excellent clinical reasoning to develop and deliver individual treatment programs and plan appropriate discharges, and be able to prioritise to clinical need.

To be responsible for organising and managing your own caseload to meet service need and patient priorities.

Be able to support, appraise and educate more junior staff, rehabilitation assistants and students.

Support your team leaders and deputise as required.

The post holder will work as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team and should have a keen interest in service development, audit, and research. They will have a broad range of rotational post graduate experience and demonstrate a commitment to CPD. They must be enthusiastic, flexible and a team player. The post is full time and will also include on call and weekend working., To have excellent communication skills with patients, relatives and be able to show empathy and understanding

Work as part of the therapy team and wider MDT demonstrating excellent communication skills.

Maintain Confidentiality, dignity and professionalism at all times.

To participate in the weekend and On call rotas as departmental policy

To maintain your professional standards of practice and codes of conduct and ensure any staff under your supervision maintain these as well.
