Full Job Description

An opportunity has arisen in MSK physiotherapy for a Band 7 Team lead.

This is a full time post based at our MSK site in Southam. This role may also extend to cover our MSK clinic at Rugby St Cross hospital. Part time requests will also be considered.

This will be an ideal opportunity for someone who is considering a developmental opportunity as a Team Lead or for those of you who would like to further develop in operational and clinical capacity.

The service is seeking expert musculoskeletal Physiotherapists who are able to demonstrate extensive post graduate musculoskeletal clinical skills, knowledge and experience, which will inspire colleagues and enhance service quality. Coaching and mentoring as well as leadership and operational training are on offer to enhance your skill set.

The successful applicants would be expected to:

Communicate well with their departmental lead colleagues and managers in order to deliver a caring and effective patient service.

Inspire and mentor junior colleagues and undergraduate students offering expert recommendations and providing invaluable support.

Manage the department on a day to day basis.

Effectively and efficiently manage their own patient caseload.

Possess great organisational and leadership skills.

Deputise for Pathway Lead.

Main duties of the job

To provide a high standard physiotherapy service to patients in area of specialism.

To work in conjunction with the Pathway lead in planning, co-ordinating, delivering and evaluating the service area on a day to day basis.

To take a lead role in the provision of support, clinical supervision and highly specialist advice to less experienced physiotherapy staff and undergraduate students within the physiotherapy department.
